With its flowing trails and jaw-dropping scenery on the slopes of Volcán de Agua, La Carmona offers a true paradise for mountain biking enthusiasts.

We’ll start with a warm-up run before diving into a full day of riding that includes mastering jumps and tackling different trail features, as well as pushing ourselves on the purpose-built singletrack that stretches across the coffee plantation. After an amazing day of riding, we’ll wind down with a visit to a local chocolate workshop, where we’ll get a taste of Guatemalan cacao and learn about the production process behind one of Guatemala’s top exports. Antigua is one of the oldest towns in Latin America, nestled at the base of the majestic Volcán de Agua (Volcano of Water). The foothills of this massive volcano steeply descend into the valleys surrounding Antigua, creating a stunning landscape filled with ridges and geographical features that are perfect for mountain biking. These foothills are predominantly covered in corn farms, fruit orchards, coffee plantations, and livestock ranches. Interwoven through this agricultural tapestry are spiderwebs of trails enjoyed by both bikers and hikers alike.

Today, many local mountain bikers have established longer, flowy, and exhilarating routes that have become their go-to hot laps. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we’ll set out to conquer some of the most exciting shuttle laps in the Antigua area! Prepare for a day filled with scenic, fun, flowy, technical, and playful singletrack as we ride trails like El Pilar, The Prince, and Cielo Grande.

The group will complete two thrilling laps, take a break for lunch, and then finish off the day with one more epic lap to round out our incredible mountain biking experience in this breathtaking region!

For our final day in Antigua, we’re returning to the renowned La Carmona coffee farm for another unforgettable day of epic biking. Known for its stunning trails and breathtaking views, La Carmona offers an ideal setting for us to make the most of our last ride together. We’ll spend the day tackling the exhilarating singletrack, enjoying the flowing terrain and the unique challenge of the trails, all while surrounded by the vibrant landscape of the coffee plantation.

After an action-packed day on the bike, we’ll gather for a special farewell dinner with the whole crew. This dinner will be a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our incredible journey, share stories, and celebrate the friendships we’ve built along the way.
